Characters > Dr Frieda Peuss

Dr Frieda Peuss has spent her entire academic career searching for the fulfilment of Friedrich Nietzsche's prophecies in the works of Dr Seuss. Peuss' permanently sour expression is brought on by a constant diet of bitterness; she is the starchy, politically correct, sensibly-shoed cheerleader for postmodernism's unredeemed endgame. But she serves as magnifying glass on the loneliness of the status quo, an amplification of the isolation of trumped up truths and the concentrated personification of a loveless life.
